Manchester United and Chelsea summer transfer plans revealed as Real Madrid weigh up options

maxbet Real Madrid remain keen on Manchester United's David De Gea and Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois, according to Sky Sports' Guillem Balague.

The European champions are reportedly looking for a long-term replacement for Keylor Navas, whose error against Juventus in the Champions League almost cost his side a place in the semi-final.

Courtois has continued to be linked with a move to Real Madrid after previously admitting that his “heart is in Madrid” and his “personal situation could affect” his decision should they come calling.

And Spanish football pundit Balague claims that the Belgian stopper is on Real's shortlist, but had better news for Manchester United fans concerning De Gea. maxbet

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "They [Real Madrid] are in for De Gea, Courtois and Allison - but they weren’t impressed with him followin

"Courtois is waiting for Real Madrid but also has PSG interested, and I think the contract Manchester United will put on the table for De Gea will convince him to stay."

Speaking about his contract situation at Stamford Bridge last month, Courtois told Sporza that he wanted to focus on the rest of the season before discussing a new deal with the Blues.

"I have one year left on my contract and feel good at Chelsea. At the end of the season we will sit down together," he said.

"I live there quietly and know that I will be at Chelsea next year as well. If I go to the World Cup with a clear idea, sign or wait another year, my mind will be clear at the World Cup." maxbet

Wolves transfer news and rumours: Two players on Nuno's radar as winger heads for the exit

Wolves are reportedly keeping tabs on West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson. Newly-promoted Wolves are expected to spend big this summer and plans are already being put in place to strength Nuno’s Championship champions. And Dawson, 27, is among a list of targets Wolves are considering according to our sister title The Mirror.

West Ham United and Burnley, who are understood to be long term admirers, are also said to be keen whilst Aston Villa and Middlesbrough have also been linked with Dawson recently. The Baggies’ 1-0 win at Newcastle United on Saturday delayed relegation once again. But Darren Moore’s side are still five points from safety with just two games to play and would need a miracle to avoid the drop. Several players are expected to depart once relegation is confirmed. The likes of Jay Rodriguez, Salomon Rondon and Kieran Gibbs will also have suitors.

Wolves interested in Allen
Wolverhampton Wanderers are targeting Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen as they prepare for their return campaign to the Premier League, writes Joe Chapman. Wolves are heading back to England’s top flight having obtained the Championship title this season, and ahead of the final weekend of the campaign plans are already being made as regards to recruitment - and improving the first-team squad. Nuno Espirito Santo is likely to be handed a substantial budget with which to work as he works to improve his group that in turn have worked tirelessly to secure the division’s top spot. sbobet asian

Welsh international Allen, according to the Sun , is high on the wish-list. The 28-year-old is expected to leave the Potteries this summer if, as looks likely, they drop into the Championship themselves. Allen has been among the more impressive performers since arriving from Liverpool in 2016. Central midfield is an area which Nuno is likely to look at - the future of loanee Alfred N’Diaye needs resolving and after the sales of Jack Price, George Saville and Jed Wallace, Wolves are a little thin on the ground as far as depth goes.

Paul Lambert, in return, could be interested in midfielder Ben Marshall. Marshall, currently excelling out on loan at Millwall, was signed by Lambert for Wolves in January 2017 from Blackburn Rovers - another club where the pair worked together. It doesn’t appear that Marshall has much of a future under Nuno.

Wolves issue apology
Wolves have been forced to apologise to supporters after forgetting to do a full lap of honour amidst Saturday’s celebrations. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side played out a goalless draw with Sheffield Wednesday at Molineux before being handed the Championship trophy afterwards. If Wolves avoid defeat at Sunderland on the final day next weekend they’ll surpass 100 points. Despite dozens of reasons to celebrate following a fantastic season, many fans were left disappointed by celebrations inside the stadium.

Some fans also weren’t pleased with the lack of a full lap of honour and voiced their concerns post-match. The club has now responded, inviting supporters to visit the club’s main reception where the trophy is pride of place. Managing director Laurie Dalrymple said: “Yesterday was such a fantastic occasion, from the absolutely incredible welcome the supporters gave the team coach, all the way through to the trophy lift and wonderful tribute from the players to Carl. “The support from all sides of Molineux was first class as usual, and the scenes at the end were some that will stay with us all for ever. “However, we are aware some fans were left disappointed, and we apologise wholeheartedly to anybody who felt let down by the location on the pitch where celebrations took place. sbobet asian
